My nose is wiggly

LOOK AT THAT SQUIGGLE! I never really noticed it. How strange.

I love my job. I want to be a teacher. I'm not excited to go back to Bentley in September. Not to sound full of myself or anything, but I'm REALLY good with kids. Even my mom has said it--she thought that it really wouldn't be for me at first, but that she thinks I'm doing an amazing job. A lot of the super shy and reserved kids have opened up to me, and even the obnoxious, spunky ones listen to & respect me. It feels really good to know that I've earned their trust and they feel safe and comfortable with me. And I've been told by my supervisor and even the Regional Director that the School-Age camp is the best that it's EVER been. We're doing way better than anyone had anticipated and that's awesome. The kids are having fun, the parents are happy and I'm really pleased that I've helped contribute to that. [& believe me when I say that our parents are ANAL to the max.. they complain about everyyyything. So the fact that we have no complaints and have only received praise is phenomenal.]

My kids are the cutest. They made "iPods" out of gimp and construction paper and walked around with them looped over their ears all day yesterday hahaha. We had a movie theme for the past two weeks and I filmed them doing various skits that they made up. It was so adorable. The girls did gymnastics and cheerleading.. the boys had cha-cha slide dance offs and made domino marble tracks. Now they want me to film everything they do, haha. I put it all together in Movie Maker and we had a 'Movie Premiere' at snack time. I was covering Kindergarten that day so I brought them in to watch--it was so cute how into it they were. And it was 24 minutes long. Which is pretty intense for the attention span of 6-10 year olds. I'm going to be so so sad at the end of the summer when camp ends. I LOVE these kids =(

I'm at my boogie's house watching True Blood while he plays video games. Because that's what we do. I love lazy days wtih my boy. Summer should never end.
