Introspection
The work that everyone else can do I find comforting. Filing and data entry are old friends. Everything has a particular routine to it so someone can come in behind you and replicate what you have done.
The work that only I can do, such as writing a paper, makes me nervous. Perhaps because I feel exposed when the product can be traced directly to me. Every mistake is my own. Maybe I should remember that every exceptional and unique part of that work is also mine as well.
