Lee Finds the Holy Grail

After L304, I went home and did Greek.

Then I went to the Book Rack (used bookstore not far from where I live) and browsed the fantasy and kiddie sections, largely because I wanted

a.) a copy of The Sword and the Sorcerer (yes, as in the movie, only this is the novel form which I had when I was a kid and I was dumb enough to sell it in some garage sale as though the fifty cents it probably brought was anything like enough to offset the joy of reading gloriously overwrought fantasy prose, which as an adult I could appreciate if only to Point 'n Hoot)

and

b.) all the YA Poo I could lay my hands on.

I struck out on the first one, although I did pick up two of the Chronicles of Prydain, which I don't remember probably because I didn't re-read them obsessively when I was a kid, but I remember liking them. The YA Poo, however, exceeded my wildest expectations. The haul to date includes three Sweet Valley High (w00tomgomglolwtfbbq), one Sweet Dreams, one Couples, one Girls of Canby Hall, one Cheerleaders, and one Sisters. And there's a LOT MORE where that came from, folks--I didn't come close to cleaning out their YA Poo stock. w00t!

You might say, "Gee, Lee, that's quite a chunk of change."

And I'd say, "Naahh, it was only about $15 for the lot."

Anyway, I have G150 in 10 minutes. Must run, etc.

greek, latin, books omg, mindless acquisition, school
