Yeah, hi. I had C495 for the first time yesterday. w00t! It promises to be fun, even if the required textbook is expensive, but then Classics courses which are crosslisted with Fine Arts often are expensive. I've taken some of the art and archaeology courses, naturally, but I'm on the culture and literature track so I've done a lot more of that.
As far as the C361 books go, there's nothing quite like owning all the course texts already to make you feel like you're pulling a fast one. Also, I've noticed that everything gets far less expensive as I move up the ranks, with the possible exception of Greek texts; foreign-language texts in any department (including SLAV and EALC, in my experience) usually can't be resold (the exception, apparently, being FRIT texts, since I bought a French textbook used).
I had scrambled eggs with a bunch of stuff mixed in last night. Okay, it was supposed to be an omelet, but I'm still learning how to make omelets properly, so it wound up being a scrambled monstrosity. Anyway, it was good, although perhaps I shouldn't have eaten that pepper. I think it may have been past its prime.
I'm still working on the new TI site. It should be up today, I think. And if
forgottensanity thinks I didn't see her contribution to the poll, she's wrong. Very wrong. Also she is getting spanked, even if their love is so true.
Back to work, back to work.
