In other news, G100 is canceled tomorrow, so I can head home tonight, which I might do. Dinner with Mel last night was good, and as an added bonus, I'm in a lot better shape financially than I was last year. I celebrated by buying myself a couple of CDs, the third volume of Samurai Deeper Kyo, and a book called Constantine's Sword, which is a history of the Catholic Church's relationship with the Jews and promises to be interesting reading. Didn't feel bad about this expenditure because I don't usually buy myself stuff anymore--hell, I still haven't replaced the jeans I busted a few months ago, and I need new boots too.

What this means, among other things, is that the domain is definitely going to be a reality (pending receipt of Christmas money, if any). I think that in the spring, I'm going to take 13 hours (still a full-time student, and not in any way hurting my progress) and a part-time job. It can make very little difference to my mother where I work, provided that I work. And I'm thinking that if I'm working year-round instead of just in the summer, then I should be able to help out more substantially with expenses.
And, pipe dream of all pipe dreams, maybe I could sock away enough for a car. Somebody's always selling one used.
I think I'm leaving tonight. Depends.
