Food Doesn't Really Fix Things

Jul 22, 2010 22:17

Not that there's much to be fixed--just a lot of me going back and forth in my brain about various things, none of which is interesting to people who aren't me and none of which merits sharing. So this is mostly me thinking aloud. Also, if I cook, I'm less likely to make crappy food choices and wind up being dyspeptic. :D

+ Shrimp salad (should use up Anaheim peppers too)
+ Eggplant/tomato/zucchini tian
+ Gazpacho (leaning strongly towards Julia Child's recipe on this one)
+ Locate salad recipe which includes green beans and bacon
+ Figure out something to do with leftover kohlrabi (kohlslaw comes to mind) and beets (the only thing I know to do with beets is borshch, and it really isn't the right time of year for it)
+ Figure out something to do with enormous zucchini

That ought to hold us for a week and some.
