1001 Things in 101 Days: How Am I Doing? (27 July-27 August)
As ever, if you're on the flist, the original post is here, now with new edits to reflect status. :D I did better than in the first month, so I guess progress is being made. Somehow.
#7 - I think we're making some progress here, since I'm eating more produce and I got kind of annoyed with the lolmom for buying red meat the last time we were at the store. (We are cheap and only go shopping once a month.)
# 8 - Well, at least the house is mildly less filthy.
#15 - Lee, for fuck's sake. You know what happens if you don't get an oil change.
#16 - Okay, so it's mostly been pasta, because it's quick and easy and doesn't require that the oven go on. But still, it's been MEATLESS pasta. We had fettuccine. And pasta with spinach and tomatoes and squash, and also spaghetti with a no-cook sauce which was nice.
#18 - Until I get used to it, retail hours are probably going to fuck with this.
#19 - A for effort; F for execution.
#28 - Lee. You're supposed to brush the cat once a week, not once a month.
#38 - Retail is also fucking with me here.
#42 - I was sorely tempted, but right now I don't have the money.
#43 - Next goal: get a raise and/or a promotion at the House of Wal, since if I have to spend 30 hours a week here they are damn well going to make it worth my while. Also, I'm still trying to find a 40-hour-a-week job (I can has insurance, pppplllllzzzzz????), though I've got a couple of things on the horizon there. :D
#44 - Now I need to update it to reflect the current House of Wal status.
#58 - Still not that great at doing this without falling asleep.
#64 - Some things never change. Read in the last month: Germanicus (David Wishart), Last Rites David Wishart, The Queen of Subtleties (Suzannah Dunn), and The Birth of France (Katharine Scherman).
#65 - Dear Lee, Please consider maybe thinking about perhaps doing some work on this, even if you do get a one-month extension. Thanks. No love, Lee.
#83 - Probably a lost cause, but I'm going to sweat it out anyway.
