I just thought I should let y'all know.
1.) Wareh wrote. I think my reply may have blown out his inbox, but I was so glad to hear from him and am happy that he seems to be settling in somewhat. I want this to be a good job for him.
2.) augustuscaesar and jurhael are remarkable, in that they are both pretty girls who do not hate me. I love the latter very much and I think when I know the former better, I will love her too.
3.) Dad already sent the $4000 that he said he would. Thank God! I'll be okay to make the deposit on the apartment and pay for my books without him, but it's good to know that the money will be there. I have no desire to be the antagonist in a drama called "State of Indiana, County of Monroe. In Re the Matter of Pretentiously Named Apartment Complex vs. Wang Xi-feng".
4.) I called Dad to ask where the money was; we talked for a bit longer. He offered to give me some furniture (much of his furniture in California won't work in Virginia); also to send me a bookcase. I was so close to crying when we got off the phone. It seems such a long time since my father and I could talk to each other, and there is much that we will never be able to discuss. It seemed almost normal. I wish we could be friends again.
5.) I'm guessing my lease will come tomorrow or Tuesday then.
