You know what sounds good?

An OMELET. An omelet with sausage and two kinds of cheese. Omelets are delicious. I like omelets. I have not had one in a very long time.

...Oooh, there's bacon. I could have some bacon. Naaah, m0mmy makes it better.

I had been going to make calzone dough, but it just takes too long and I'm hungry NOW.

Yes. Omelet it is, then. I would like to make a sweet, creamy, desserty thing (Julia Child has some splendid ideas...), but that doesn't seem to be a go. That's the last thing I need. I lost 10 pounds, dammit, and I've been good about not eating between meals or picking at leftover chips.

My first day back at work went pretty well. Everyone seemed pretty happy to see me. (That'll wear off soon enough.) Mindy quit to go work for a law office; I met her replacement, but it's too soon to tell if I like her or not. (She just started with us on Monday anyway.) I will miss Mindy, though. I remember her predecessor.

I feel old. I've been with the same company for almost 2 years. No, I'm serious. I started working there on 17 May 2001. I've seen people come and go. Things I've said are running jokes. It feels so strange.

My current goal is to have Terra Incognita up and running by 26 May (Memorial Day weekend). Preferably sooner, but not later. I don't know why I think you (whoever "you" are) care about my silly game. But I need something to do with myself, and there are some needs that Latin does not fill. (Yes, I know, blasphemy.)
