Um yeh, so dinner was a swift affair.
I should include a "cut" but I'm in a rush.
Well since...August? when I read over some tutorials, I occasionally have a go at retexturing a hair I like that hasn't been done yet (to my knowledge). Usually, this ends up with me frustrated, swearing at CS2, and pissed I'm not a fancy graphic designer type person who knows mad tricks and shortcuts on Photoshop. However, in the past...lets guess, 6-8 attempts I've made overall...I've gotten better. Less swearing. Not as peeved. And I'm going to go out on a limb and say this ain't too shabby. As far as my standards go anyway.
I'm rambling. To the point: I did this a while ago and I didn't think it was crap. I took (very bad) pics in-game because I personally don't think Bodyshop pics are an accurate example, or a good one, of what the thing looks like. Besides, you're going to be using it in your game anyway, right?
The lower half of this mesh was a bitch to do. Required a lot of fiddling, which I did over a period of god knows how long. It's an oldie of Raon's, number unknown (I can't be arsed checking, sorry). But you know...I like it well enough to use in-game. Now all I have to do is learn how to bin hair. Hmm. That could be...moar frustration & swearing. I guess we'll see :/
