Oh, thank you! I'm really happy it's not ridiculously OOC. More will be up within the week, hopefully.

Thanks for the comment. :)

I love what you've chosen for the cliches - Jeff being sick and Annie taking care of him is a classic. And it's an interesting twist that he attempts to kiss her to prove he's alright, rather than out of gratitude or some fever dream.

I think you've done fine with the characterization here. Both Annie and Jeff's voices feel natural.

Looking forward to more.

Oh, thanks! I think I've read a few in Community fandom, but not a ton, so I wasn't sure people would think it a cliché.

Thank you so much. It's been weighing on my mind a lot. I usually get the flow of a character pretty quickly when I start up in a fandom, but Jeff is being a bitch.

More soon-ish. :)

I loved the D/R edition of this series and am really loving this J/A one, your voices are spot on, and Annie's POV is so adorable and amusing in this, how she's in a barely sustained denial and her thought process is so jumpy and prone to get off track and how she's forcing herself to think and act a certain way but the real ~feelings~ slip out anyway, very enjoyable and real and cute, I'm reading with a huge grin on my face.

his voice, while always a little sexy, was now really sexy.
TRUTH. His pretend-sick low voice was just HNNNGGGGUHH.

Hello, fellow D/R-er! My fandoms don't seem to overflow into one another these days. Oh, thank goodness! You have no idea how I've agonized. Stupid Jeff being all elusive. Annie, on the other hand, I picked up rather easily, though I'm pretty sure I still have a little ways to go to get her perfectly.

Glad I could make you grin!

LOL, I yelled at the tv when that part came on. I was upset that my idea had been usurped, but then it was already written, so. But, he was pretending in the show. Also? Yes, it was verrah, verrah sexay.

Hi :) I don't meet many fellow active D/R here either, but like I wrote in the comment to Objections, I always get doubly excited when I do. I kinda think shipping J/A after D/R should be a natural course in shipping, I mean too-hot-for-their-own good immature older jerks with a heart of gold who push away younger headstrong women with big loving hearts is clearly our thing *gg*

Stupid Jeff being all elusive.
That's just him, elusive is his middle name, even though she show tried to convince us it's Tobias xD

Haha, that'd do uncanny that you'd put it in there before it happened on the show, I love when this fandom is prophetic. Mmmhhmm, I'm kinda hoping he gets a cold for real just to hear that again....
