Mercy, what a lovely thing to come home from work to! This was quite enjoyable, and in particular this paragraph made me giggle with joy:

"Saved-the-day hugs? I'm hard. Holding your hand? Hard again. Seeing your smile, that little tip of your tongue that curls around your teeth just so," he held his fingers together, scrunching his face up, "teasing me, taunting me, begging me to kiss you?
