Ooh, perfect! You've got Nine's air of possession towards Rose at the end of TDD brilliantly - and Jack's definite interest in both of them.

I love the ambiguity here, too:
He'll deal with the Captain's interest later.

For an OT3er like me, that could easily mean that Jack's interest is returned; for someone who prefers Doctor/Rose, of course, there's a different interpretation. Nicely done!

Well, to be perfectly honest, the dubious nature of that line was not unintentional. I've never written OT3 before (scratch that, I have a Tencest/Rose fic about to go up) but I wanted to provide that possibility in this fic. Because I knew I couldn't write for you, the Queen of Nine/Rose/Jack, and have it not be possible. *G*

Glad you liked it. I enjoyed writing it immensely. I love Nine's possessiveness with Rose speaks to something in me, probably some throwback from when we slept in caves and were drug around by our hair. :)

Oh! I wondered, but I certainly wasn't going to assume. You know, much as I love my textual OT3, I love the subtext just as much, and this is perfectly in keeping with the subtext in the episodes, where it really is beautifully ambiguous.

And Nine... oh, yes. Completely possessive, yes, but not over-the-top about it, and willing to share eventually when he accepts that Jack's worth it ;)
