Amazon Gone Bananas??
It's NOT the 1st of april yet, right? So... WTF IS THIS?!?!?! O___o;;
Why the h*ll is volume 3 of Banana Fish so ridiculously expensive? Huh?! There are cheaper books out on amazon and eBay, but STILL! WTH!?!? *flails arms*
I'm upset/fuming/flabbergasted because I bought volumes 1-2 and 4-15 of Banana Fish within the past three days (the latest batch of 4-15 today). The comic is sadly out of print, so I've been forced to find alternative sources to get the complete set. *le sigh*
That might be the reason for the price, btw, the comic being out of print I mean... nah, scratch that, I found it for around $6 on eBay... Brits are nuts. *ducks vafan_so_dance's fist of British rage* xDD
While I'm on manga-related business: Obata Takeshi's latest project is on sale, 's called Ral Omega Grad. *nudges birger* ;DD (I don't know if you're supposed to read out the "omega"-letter between Ral and Grad in the title... ah well)
I've yet to read it because I suck, but it's waiting for me at my bedside table.
Obata Takeshi is the artist behind Hikaru no Go and Deathnote, btw. ;P
Side-note: The picture I chose for the Deathnote reference is the cover of Takeshi-sensei's latest art book; blanc et noir, which I happen to be in possession of ^o^
