Daigaku no Monogatari (or the Power of YAOI!)

The printer is humping the table (aka printing tons of flyers for ai-con), and I've run out of candy... LJ it is~! :D

Yesterday was rather an eventful day. I went to campus to do my post-lecture online test. I usually take the online tests at home, but for this particular one I had to be able to write with kana and kanji on the computer, so off to the Uni I went. (Mom's current computer is a Windows 2000... I know. T.T But some good news is that they've bought a new one, so I'll attempt to install it this weekend!)

I asked a girl in the reception which computers had Japanese installed, and she told me there weren't any (which I knew was untrue, she was probably just a newbie). Facing the prospect of checking over 500 computers to see which ones had Japanese, I took the bus to the other side of campus, to Albano, and went to the Asian Library to try their computers instead... Instant fail! The library's closed on wednesdays and fridays, d'oh! TwT

The remaining solution was to go to dad's, but it's SO troublesome [/Shikamaru]. I ended up taking the bus back to the main campus and decided to try ye olde copy+paste method by using google on Japanese/English dicitonaries. A desperate plan, yes? ^^;

It then hit me that I had yet to try out all of the operative systems, so far I'd tried Linux (difficult! D:) and Windows XP, but I'd neglected Mac X. I lucked out, the Mac computers had Japanese installed. Victory~! ^o^

Now for the funny bit of the story! (Reader: It took her THIS long to get to the fun stuff?!) Before I left for the Uni I was reading yaoi pr0n manga on the computer, dilly-dallying and having a gay old time *snert*. When I took the tests with the campus computers I came upon this particular question: "What does NEET stand for?". The funny thing is that the last chapter I'd downloaded had mentioned NEET, and it was only because I'd read that pr0n (note: 't was a story by Naono Bôra no less!) that I knew what it was! Hah! xDD

's the power of yaoi, I tell you~! o^____^o

Other than that... today's been a bit boring. I got an account at Gaia Online, only to be bored out of my mind again within 30 minutes. Wohoo. ;P

Oh, and mom's flat-screen TV sucks a$$. It won't co-operate with my PS2... damn it, I want to play my games~! ...But I can't play anyway, 'cause I seem to have misplaced my memory cards, BOTH OF THEM! *le sigh o' pain and suffering*

...I think it's time to end this post of randomness. >.>;
