Consert/I'm off!
I went to the Popaganda festival with Helena, her friend Anders and Rikard yesterday(I'll post pictures later once I've nicked some from Rikard! ;3). I don't have much time to describe it, but here goes:
- At first I was a tad frightened due to the sheer amount of poppers, but I calmed down once I had someone (aka Helena) to cling to
- Once we got inside the festival grounds, we were met by... well, PEOPLE. ^^;
- I saw two artists; first a guy from Canada who called himself Final Fantasy, doing wicked things with a violin ^^ Then I saw a Danish band called Mew. I asked Rikard to describe them for me, and he said something along these lines: "Well, they're sort of like Kent (Swedish emo-band), only more pretto". Pretto = pretencious. ;)P
- Final fantasy was cool, Mew was toe-crushing. Me and Rikard went to the big stage where Mew was to perform early, and thus ended up standing right next to the mosh pit. @.@; Luckily, I've practised kendo and could thus use my awesome *cough* samurai-powers to regain my footing after each mosh wave. ^^
- When we (Rikard and I, Helena had gone home early) were on our way home after the concert at around 22.30, the subway was so packed that we decided to take the bus. Which was also stuffed. I suppose it's because it had just started raining that people were scurrying home + there was only one band left playing. xP
- NOW I'm about to go to my cousin's wedding, guuuh... Text me and see if I survive, please? ;w;
