A post-"Chosen", suicidal Xander is shown by Spike (in the Clarence role) how awful things would have been had Xander not been born. We see what would've happened if he hadn't been around for "The Harvest", "Killed By Death", "The Zeppo", "Primeval", "The Gift" and other times.
It's a nicely thought out short story and ends on a Spandery note of course.
