The Saint
Well someone is attempting to resurrect one of my favorite TV shows "The Saint". I loved it back in the day when Roger Moore played Simon Templar and was even able to tolerate Ian Ogilvy's version but this...I don't know. They've turned him into an American with a murdered mother (shades of Castle's Becket) and lots of mindless acts of senseless violence. I get the feeling to further complicate matters they might even try to incorporate the historical Templars into the story arc. The only good thing going for it is they've hired Eliza Dushku to play Patricia Holm who was Templar's girlfriend in the early novels and short stories written by Leslie Charteris. Oh well it might never make it onto the air. I don't know whether to be happy or disappointed. See for yourself.
