Housesitting
It's Day 4 of housesitting for my sister while she and her and fiance are getting married in Scotland. In fact, the ceremony should take place in seven hours! Meanwhile, I'm experiencing living alone for the first time ever--not exactly easy, but I'm managing.
Yesterday, Nicole came over and we went grocery shopping and bought stuff to make pizza, soup and cookies. Then we watched How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, Sixteen Candles and a few episodes of ALF while we played Casino and Texas Hold 'Em. Our tuscan white bean soup was awesome! I have enough to last me for days :)
Today was a quiet day--I don't think I even turned on the TV. Made some phone calls, researched some stuff online and played with Guiness and Potroast.
Of course the most exciting thing that happened today was that I beat Yoshi's Island on my Nintendo DS Lite!!! I love that thing more than I ever thought I would. Now I'm working on Donkey Kong Country. Hopefully I can finish that before I get Ouendan.
