Happy New Year Post Update
Thought I would do a little update for the year.
Let's see, nothing much has changed here at the homestead, I'm still single and hoping for a change. In the last year I survived yet another round of layoffs at my job, and am waiting for the next cut to come in the coming year. I was a very slow reader this year and only read about 5 books, but I watched over 450 movies so I guess my interest shifted a bit.
After being diagnosed with diabetes I was able to lose about 60 pounds before I had to have my gall bladder removed a couple weeks ago. The surgery went bad and it was necessary for them to open me up. So a 1 hour out patient surgery turned into a three day hospital stay. I am hoping to be back at work on Monday.
Well, that's about it. Hope everyone has a happy and productive 2009.
