Twelve Tribes: They were the best band there. They were really tight, really energetic, and it sucked that they opened because nobody moved for them at all. Their music isn't the heaviest or the most technical, but it's fun and has a good groove to it. Plus I kinda know them a little bit so yeah.
Scarlet: Think Every Time I Die but darker. They put on a really good live show but I'm not really feeling this band. They had pretty cool breakdowns but other than that they really aren't very good. Their vocalist also looks like a heroin addict, and their bass player has a wicked Fu Manchu.
Remembering Never: I've seen them three times and every time they have sucked hard. But this time they were actually pretty good. I think it might have been because the sound at the Bottom Lounge is incredible. Their music went downhill, as they've pretty much become a melodic verison of Throwdown now, but they have a good singer and mosh parts.
Zao: The coolest part about Zao is that they have a black guitarist. Other than that they still kinda suck. Rock and roll with a black metal singer screeching about god and jesus christ. Wooo. They played "Lies of Serpents, A River of Tears" though, which was pretty awesome. I like that song.
It wasn't that great of a show.
Some girl came up to me and asked me if I was friends with someone. I didn't know her, and I couldn't hear who she was asking me about, so I said no. I hope I didn't cause any crap with that one. If you read this, whoever you are, let me know.
Tomorrow: the MADE tour: Stretch Arm Strong, Terror, Between The Buried And Me
That shit's gonna be NUTS. I got some hot new gym shorts just for that show. Check em out:
Nice and huge, just the way I like em OOOOH YEAHH.
I should get some felt letters and put MOSH across the ass. Or maybe down one leg. Eh? Eh?
