GOT MY RAISE!!!!!!!!!!
Whoo-hoo! I got my raise, I got a raise, I got a fucking raise! 'course it doesn't kick in until next pay period, but starting September 11th it's all good!
So, I was working up in Brookfield yesterday, and it was so freaking dead. Pretty much the only times the phone rang, it was my manager calling to talk to the manager there or to me. She told me yesterday that we'd gotten approved for raises and that I was (hopefully) going over $10 an hour, but that we'd talk more about it today. Today then, Laura let me watch as she went in to put me in for my raise... 3.25% increase, so I'm now at $10.22 an hour. That's an extra .32 cents an hour. I said I'd stick around to see how the raise would be, if I didn't make it to at least $10 I was gone... well, I'm now over $10 so I guess I'll stick around for a while longer. hehe
