Be Careful What You Share On Facebook.

It's amazing how many people actually get off emotionally on your failures. It's no secret that I am having trouble at University, but as soon as you ask for help no one wants to know. If you think you might be failing a subject there's a good chance that you will unless you get some help. They don't tell you where to get help. You have to glean all of this information as you go along. It's a really crappy system.

Anyway, there are people who pop up in the chat on facebook and ask you about your studies. How you went in exams and what not. Largely, they are looking for reassurance.
If you passed, it's OK to tell them your grade, especially if it's fairly decent. If you fail, it's best to tell a lie and say it's a P1 or something. Never let on that you failed. I just did this in a recent conversation and this other guy was gloating about how easy the course was, etc. It just made me feel really shitty.

Not to mention that the on again off again friendship is off again, but that's another journal entry.
