Tomorrow is my first day of work, while I am at school. I am not convinced yet if I can manage it, but school is manageable for now. Could it be because I enjoy the classes I am in, for the 3rd semester in a row? I better not jinx myself.
I forgot how much I like Renaissance architecture history classes. I have this assumption that it will be boring because it is "old." And then I convinced myself that the reason I enjoyed the undergraduate version of the class I am taking now was because my professor was a character. He managed to show us one slide for month (an engraving of an academic working at a book wheel.). He used phrases like "vis a vis Britney Spears" and expanded my list of synonyms for shit, poo, excrement, etc. by 10x when we talked about the Hausmannization of Paris. I am excited about this class, even though I had to spend 30 minutes looking for an Amazon.com alternative that carried the books we needed. Is it me or has Amazon started to suck more an more over the past few years? More items I have wanted to order are out of stock, take forever to ship, or take forever to be delivered.
