Kushiel and Cassiel
Just got home from work. It was a predictable day, with the exception that the cafe is completely torn apart. They're repairing the floors this week. Apparently they decided that it was time to get it fixed....something about the freezer slowly sinking through the floor made them worried. I dunno. All I know is that it's really really really loud there now cuz the construction crew is going pretty much non-stop. They listen to good music though. That made the first two hours just fly by.
Technically I actually got off work about three hours ago. I decided to get a ride home from mike though, since I wasn't feeling to great and that two hour bus ride always makes me queasy. So instead I sat and read more of my wonderfully sexy trilogy. The anguisette and the cassieline are together now, finally. Remarkably enough, it hasn't diminished anything to have them acknowledge their feelings. I think there's enough frustration and pain in their relationship to make up for the suffering of separation. The third book is actually proving to be more interesting than the last two, even though there is considerably less "naughtiness." *laughs* I think part of it is that things are much less intense, allowing you to really enjoy the relationships that people have formed throughout the last two books. besides, I can only take so much of the secret plots to kill such-and-so...ya know?
well, that's pretty much it for now. I have to go figure out what the hell I'm going to do tonight while mike games. Blah, isn't it boring? I really should have just bought the third book.
