Crazy beautiful summer

Crazy crazy craziness! This has been a busy busy summer!! @_@ With Connecticon, Otakon and Masquerade, France, NJ Pony Meet, Wisdom Teeth out, almost loosing all my classes and not graduating, camping, work, Link Park concert, etc. I'm also planning my grandmother's 80th birthday this Saturday AND....

I was almost eaten by a lobster... was not a pretty sight let me tell you. ;) heh So when does vacation start?

This was the second year that Lori, Briana, and I escaped for a weekend to meet up with some collector friends in sunny Seaside Heights, New Jersey. It was such a fun weekend with just the girls. It felt like a 5yr olds birthday party/ Bachlorette party. Here are just a few pictures of what we did.

Jacqui made Sea Pony cookies ;) sooo good

We bought, traded and sold ponies. The three of us shared the table to the left with Lori's and my beauuutiful Rapunzels looking over. And there's me crossing off my checklist with Briana about to kick me in the butt. ;p

Lori and I dyed some shirts!

Later we all painted on them with t-shirt paints. Never expect me to not mispell something when I have to do something requiring precision... I miss spelled Jersey by writting Jeresy. >_<;; But I fixed it in the end ^_^

Later we went to the boardwalk shops with the gals. Here's Lori, Julie, and I actin' all diva with our sunglasses ;)

Some of the girls waiting for a ride on the Ferris wheel ^_^

Us shishtas <3 <3 <3 ^_^

Last weekend Tim and I went camping at Devil's Hopyard in East Haddam with Briana and her bf Dan and Dan's roomies Krista and Tom. Twas much fun but all the camping pictures are on Briana's camera somewhere. It was a lot of fun putting up our tent, going for a hike, making a fire to cook hot dogs, banana boats, and marshmellows. Later we all hung out in Kristas and Tom's tent to play of game of Quelf.

The next day Tim and I, as well as Briana and Dan, all had tickets to go see Projek Revolution in Hartford. Tim and I went back home and rested but we then went to Hartford to catch some of the later acts. Before the concert I chose a random place on Tim's GPS and we ate at a reaaaallllyyy good Asian place. We almost left thinking it was a dive but we were both glad we stayed because inside was really gorgeous and the food was awesome!! The first dish had out favorites Philly roll and Boston roll, next was called the Crystal roll, and the one on the right was a volcanoe roll. The volcanoe roll was awesome!! It had 4 maki rolls at the bottom with a pile of spicy tuna and other fish on top... soooooo goooood!!! Heh and Tim got a Blue Hawaiian girly drink in the back there ;) <3

At the concert we hung out with Briana and Dan on the lawn for a bit and then went to the Pitt to watch My Chemical Romance and Linkin Park up close.

Here was Gerard from MCR

MCR's ending

LP beginning

Mike does his rapping

Chester does his screaming. He was really impressive though because he worked really hard on stage and really put his whole body into it.

Linkin Park was an awesome show! I think they were my last really big group I wanted to see live.

In the end this summer has been very eventful and I'm sad because next week I have to start school again. :( I'm having to take 4 classes now as oppose to 3 because in mid August my whole schedual was dropped for late payment (because we didn't get the bill) and I couldn't get into one of the classes that could have filled 2 requirements. Ah well.... sooo now I'm taking a History thru film L course, a 217 Lit class on Fairytale and Folklore, a Jewelry making class Art elective, and a music L class on Opera. Heh... Opera was the only thing that fit *shrug* hope it doesn't suck but it might be interesting
