Half way through the B5 rewatch
B5 is so engrossing that we have been watching 2 episodes most nights, and are now half way through season 3.
Random thoughts:
Sheridan / Delenn! Best het ship ever! Even my daughter who still doesn't like romance or kissing finds them adorable. I have really been enjoying watching the slow progression of their relationship. And last night was "Ceremonies of Light and Dark" in which he finally tells her how he feels.... Truly a relationship between equals, and between two mature adults. So much better and more complex than what we usually get to see in film and TV.
I really wish they had done more Talia/Ivanova development. It was all subtext. Sigh. I don't usually like femslash because I don't relate to most female characters, but I could make this pairing work in my mind....
There are so many things I totally forgot. For example, the prophecy for Londo and the 3 chances for redemption he will get.
Some of the episodes I think I never saw the first time through. One was Dust to Dust in which G'Kar has his spiritual insight via the drug dust, seeing Molari's past, and the intervention of Kosh.
Another thing I never noticed the first time through was how often characters get tied up and/or beaten in the show. Noncon of course, but otherwise pretty kinky.....
The only problem is we haven't seen Zathras since season 1! Come back Zathras!!!
