The great Babylon 5 rewatch with the kids is in full swing. I decided that even though B5 can be dark the kids can handle it -- after all, my daughter is reading the Hunger Games right now and read all of Harry Potter when she was 6.
Tonight we watched #17, Legacies. I don't think I ever saw this episode the first time around! Even though it isn't one of the best -- still -- a new episode! With Ivanova/Talia interaction! And Delenn development!
Tomorrow we'll be watching "A Voice in The Wilderness" and will be full into the end-of-season 1 story arc. All JMS episodes from then to the end....
The writing is even better than I remembered . The acting as well -- Londo! G'Kar! Delenn! Fully formed characters from the first episode onward.
It is also bringing back wonderful memories of watching the series the first time with my stepdaughter and the rest of the family, back when I was living in a triad with both her parents, back in California before we moved to Colorado.
