The subject of the day is music
My brother in law gave me a Best Buy gift card for the holidays and I finally got around to using it. Since I don't like buying electronics or computer equipment at Best Buy (due to their unfriendly return policies) I bought music CDs instead.
Here's what I got:
Queensryche: Operation Mindcrime II (Didn't know this existed but loved the first one)
kd lang: Reintarnation (Didn't notice this was a compilation, has a lot of the same songs as
Absolute Torch and Twang, but it's pretty good nonetheless. Cover art looks like London
Calling.)
Erasure: The Very Best of Erasure (I did notice this was a compilation, but it is a nice
collection)
Simon & Garfunkel: Greatest Hits (I used to have this or something like it on cassette)
Morrissey: Ringleader of the Tormentors (I didn't know he was still recording. It's pretty good
though.)
White Stripes: Get Behind Me Satan (Seems pretty decent, too soon to say if I like it as much as the
others)
Indigo Girls: All that we let in (I think I need to give this one time to grow on me, but I like it)
Not bad for free :)
