I've been playing the Sims 2 for nearly a year and a half now and only today did I discover that it is possible to play in Window mode.

No longer have I an excuse for not leaving IM and email open while Simming.

Make a new shortcut in the menu of the expansion you run (or of the main game if you have no expansions). Then copy it to your desktop. Rightclick on it and open the properties window.

In the "Target" field, go to the end of the path and add a -w (with a space before the -).

Then rename the shortcut so you remember to use that one.
