(no subject)
I bought yarn today, I'm going to make eryn_ a bag for her writing notebook. I'm going to start it when I leave for my cruise this weekend. Not sure how far I'll get on the cruise but I need a hobby to do other than video games because they are eating up too much of my life.
In other news, work sucked eggs today. It wasn't work's fault, it was Microsoft's fault. Visual Source Safe choked one day last week, said it was full. Pretended it had saved some of my files. Turns out it had corrupted some, which I discovered and was able to recover from the staging server. Other files though, it pretended it had saved properly. So when I "got latest" and copied out to the staging server, I wiped out a couple days worth of work that as it turns out had NOT been successfully saved into VSS.
But wait, you ask, isn't source code management software supposed to protect you from this kind of thing?
Um, yeah. That's the point.
So that is why I am in a pissy antisocial mood. Stay clear of me. You have been warned.
