On Friday we had our work Christmas party. Almost everyone in the company hangs out in the car park and eats free food and gets wasted with free drinks. Each year there is a theme, this year it was famous literature characters. I can’t remember who one I was far to gone by that stage but there was probably close to 50 people dressed up. (If Alexis ever sends me the photos ill post some of them)
Anyway a good time was had by all. I spent most of my day wandering around talking to as many people as possible however towards the end of the day as more and more people went home I found that our table was almost the last ones left.
Went home, watched the cricket and then some shit movie called “Deep Blue Sea” NOTE: Do not watch this movie. Its gay!
Saturday Alexis wanted to go to a shop in the city to get some Christmas presents for people so we headed in only to find that the store she wanted to go to wasn’t there. So we didn’t end up buying any Christmas presents at all. Went back to her house and started watching the 3rd season of Arrested Development. That show is seriously funny.
The night we the plan was for dinner and brews at the story bridge hotel. I ended up missing the bus I wanted to catch but fortunately the following bus had the don on it so I wasn’t all that upset. The 345 never disappoints!
Went to the casino and ended up leaving $5 up. Saw some woman in one of the smallest outfits ever. It was hot! I felt a bit sorry for her though as every old man in the place was taking a look.

I really enjoyed myself the only downside would probably have been that we didn’t eat till really late and we left really early in what can only be described as a soft effort.
Highlights included
- Kristy being chatted up by some random who had all of his old school ID photos. Weird!
- A small fire while we were waiting for dinner, which was put out by some girl who was applauded for her efforts
- Turkish Delight Ice Cream
Sunday I watched the cricket and slept a lot. That night went to Alexis’s and had dinner with her family and rellies.
I think I might finish off my Christmas shopping on Thursday night so that I have my weekend free of massive crowds.
