How the fuck did it get to be Friday already? I did not give permission for that.
Peoples, I have been verrah verrah busy! Since my last update I have:
01. Officially stopped smoking for reals. It has been over a week and I'm def past the worst bit. Yays! and I have monies for college!
02. Survived the trauma of sick child getting vom ALL OVER her bedroom. JFC, I spent so long cleaning to get rid of the smell I was tempted to just set the whole room on fire and be done with it. (She's fine, btw.)
03. Ordered some new glasses. The glass on my old one came away from the frame but it looked glue-able so I took them into Boots to ask if they could be fixed. (Fortunately I have a spare pair as I bought glasses as 2-for-1 offer.) Nice woman in Boots said I can has a new pair, hooray! Did not occur to me that they would still be under warranty as I bought them over a year ago but it is 2 years for Boots' own.
04. Done a shit-load of sewing, mostly unpicking. *sob*
05. Bought child art materials as reward for "Your child is Awesome, kthnx" school report. Bought folder and card for portfolio-making for myself. Also, fabric and thread, plus a pair of stork embroidery scissors with my birthday vouchers!
06. Attended appointments with psychiatrist and GP, without incident.
07. Went to the motherfucking bank like an adult.
08. Ate what may be the most amazing ice-cream ever. Waitrose says it has won awards for Most Awesome Ice-Cream Evah or similar, and I can well believe it. I forget the name, but it was pistachio flavour. Mmmm, pistachio.
