An open letter to Mother Nature.

Dear Mother Nature,

Thanks ever so much for my birthday present last night.

The rain. What can I say? We desperately needed it, that's for sure. The smell of a clean slate. Everything washed down. The sound of earth drinking the bounty from the sky.

You have a knack of getting things right, don't you?

But the second present was more than I could have ever hoped for. The electrical storm you put on show just for me...breathtaking. Rarely have I witnessed such a demonstration of power and beauty. I can't put into words just how much energy it gave me to see yours.

So, yeah, thanks.
