Once upon a time there was a boy named Keoni who lived in Madison, Wisconsin. He was a vegetarian until he turned into a bizarre shark-man due to some flaw in his Hawaiian lineage. Thankfully there was a lot of water in Madison, so he plopped into a lake and spent his time swimming around eating ducks and small children. He eventually realized that eating small children wasn't the kind of life he wanted to live, and started looking for others like him. That, and it was cold as fuck in the lakes during winter. So after telling his parents that he turned into a horrible shark monster, and having them completely ignore him and think that he's just crazy for being gone for so long, he decides to run away to another high school where people wouldn't make fun of him for being crazy. He eventually discovers Delphi High that Christmas break, and enrolls for the next semester.
The first day of class, he is escorted to his class by the headmaster, Hancock.
"Now remember, this school is full of special students just like you, so they won't judge you. Remember, you're special. And if they do happen to judge you, grow some claspers and take it like a shark-man, Keoni."
Keoni adjusted his thick-rimmed glasses and tugged at the front of his shirt nervously, nauseated at the fact that the headmaster couldn't just use the term 'balls' instead, "But what if they don't like me?"
The headmaster smiled, "Don't worry, they will. If they don't, they'll be sure to give you a quick and painless death. Now play nicely," He left Keoni all alone in the hall. Other students eyed him as they walked past.
"What kind of horrible school is this?" Keoni thought to himself in horrified horror.
Just then he saw a skinny blonde and dorky looking kid, almost as dorky looking as him, walking down the hall. The kid looked unsure of himself, almost as much as Keoni did, if not more. He looked like someone who got picked on and bullied on a daily basis. Maybe now was a good opportunity to make a quick friend. Keoni moved towards the skinny kid, nervously fidgeting.
"Um, hi. I'm Keoni. I'm new here. Do you know where room 112 is? I have my first class there today..." He shrugged.
The skinny blonde kid stopped and looked at Keoni, "Oh. Me too. Although I think that room is right behind you. By the way, my name's Vince,"
"Okay. Oh I see. Thanks, uh, Vince,"
"No problem,"
"So if you don't mind me asking, what are you supposed to be?" Keoni asked him in a low voice as they walked into the classroom with their book bags.
"Huh?" Vince looked confused.
"Like what kind of... thing... creature... or whatever. What kind are you?" Keoni looked around suspiciously as if others could hear his conversation, which they probably could anyways.
"You know you don't need to be so nervous here, but um... I guess I'm a naga," Vince replied as he sat at a desk next to the one Keoni was about to sit down in.
"... A what."
"A naga? It's basically a snake with a human torso, I guess. Something like that. I don't know much more than you do... But what about you?"
"I don't know," Keoni halfway lied. He knew he was some kind of shark-man, but he didn't really have a specific name for whatever he was supposed to be, "I just came here to go to school, I don't know anything,"
"Oh. Okay," Vincent twiddled his pencil.
Keoni started deeply into Vincent's eyes, "We should be lovers,"
Vincent stared back, "Yes, I love you, please,"
And from that day forward they loved each other forever.
The end.
