Severus levers himself out of bed with effort. He didn't sleep well last night - he had been turning over in his mind the options for Draco when he left the BW house

~Pansy notes his enthusiastic knife work, raises an eyebrow and smiles~

What did that tomato ever do to you?

I should think the answer to that was obvious, Pansy. Severus smirks.

Look at it: it's red. It's very clearly a Gryffindor tomato.

Funny, I thought you developed an appreciation for Gryffindors lately. Can I help you with anything?

Well one should never overlook the benefits of untutored enthusiasm in some quarters, but it would be a mistake to think that Minerva was anything other than a sneaking, duplicitous and underhanded person.

I'm really rather proud of her, you know.

So what shall we have for breakfast? I was considering some sort of spanish omelette thingy, although I could make porridge. It's worth it just to see the look of horror on Draco's face when he sees that's all there is for breakfast.

Oh, be nice. He has enough going on already without being tortured over breakfast. ~chuckles~ There, I've done my girlfriendly duty. Now, do we have enough eggs or should I go out and retrieve more?

Well there is enough for us, but if you are determined to pamper Draco perhaps we could do with some more.

I must say I am worried about Ron's hearing because we've mentioned food several times and he hasn't appeared yet, but I expect he'll want some eventually.

I expect Ron is still asleep. He's been sleeping fitfully lately...he mutters alot. ~shrugs~ Odd.

~Pansy heads outside to feed the chickens and retrieve the eggs.~

Severus continues preparing the vegetables and wonders what's wrong with Ron.

As someone once said, hearing voices in your head is never a good sign, even in the Wizarding World.

~Pansy comes in a few moments later, carrying a few eggs. She shudders~

It's cold out there! Only four eggs today. Lothario must not be keeping the girls happy.

Well he does have a harem to service; it must takes its toll.

Luckily Snape men are one hen roosters...if they know what's good for them.
