Shag Frenzy at the Hartford Advocate Band Slam
For those of you who were unaware, we received a high number of votes in the Hartford Advocates Band Slam voting, and were asked to perform on Wednesday, August 3rd at the Band Slam. No we did not win, some big DJ who even has a show on 93.7 won. Still, it is mega cool that we made it this far!
The Band Slam starts at 7:30, and it all around Union Place in Hartford. I know its a work night, but it will be a lot of fun plus it is FREE!! There are bands playing in the bars, outdoors stages, and outdoor beer gardens. Plus the Advocate is giving aways iPods, concert tickets (I believe for Coldplay the next night) and other stuff, so come out and show your support.
We are planning on checking out a friend's sister's band, Eula, playing Bourbon Street at 8:45pm, and proceed to the Pour House from there.
