Internship
So I was just taking out the parrot food bowls for the day in the exhibit when a father and his small daughter saw me "behind the scenes" if you will and the dad said to his daughter "Isn't that cool? This is her job, she gets to work with animals all day!"
It is very beyond cool and that is so what I've always thought whenever I saw the biologists working at aquariums and zoos when I was around 6 as well. That comment just made me feel really good about my future goals, even though I physically feel ick.
Now the next step is to actually find a way to get paid for doing this....>>
