I'm separating this entry from the next one because it is not safe for work. The inhabitants of Pompeii were very dirty people, apparently, but I wanted to post up the art anyway. So be warned.
Also, I really don't have much to say about a lot of this work. We went through rather quickly. So not all will be captioned.

I could have posted a more famous mosaic about Alexander, but I chose this instead because it's shown at the beginning of the Rome TV series that I love so much.
Not sure about this. I think the message is obvious.
Wind chimes. Cute.
The detail here is impressive and revolting.
An artistic kind of shot.
Ironic placement of statues.
A bath house, I think.
This woman died for the crime of being a woman.
Atlas holding up the world, I assume.
Hercules, tired after all his trials. He looks kind of ugly here.
All in all, I wasn't blown away by Naples or this museum. The stuff taken out of Pompeii was overall fairly interesting, but I didn't really have any background information on it and I felt I didn't really appreciate it as much as I could have.
