I have a question. What is your opinion on Biodiesel fuel. I've been reading information about it from http://www.biodiesel.org/ and have heard some things about it; but since you have been far more active in environmental protection than I have I'd value your opinion.
I've been working more and more with Biodiesel recently. It is a pretty amazing system. I vast improvement, but still a temperary solution, as Biodiesel for everyone would be unsustainable. But for now I say become a DIY pirate and convert your car (assuming that you have or can get a diesel)!!!
I am slowly paying off a diesel bus that I bought for the Circus Collective. I'm about half way to paying it off and then will be fundraising for the cost of the conversion.
But I still want a car that runs on garbage like back to the future...
well if I ever hear of an innovative garbage utilizing car I'll let you know. And I wish you success with converting your bus, though from what I've read all that you really need to do is change the fuel lines, and any other rubber components to a different form of rubber that Biodiesel does not corrode. Other than that it said you don't have to do anything to convert, just keep checking stuff after first use as the biodiesel cleans out the petroleum build ups. When you start fundraising I'd like to send some money your way for it cause that I believe is a worthy cause, so long as if possible you put in a Nox filter as BD generates Nox in equal or slightly higher amounts, but without sulfur exhaust can be filtered. Anyways good luck, and thanks.
please oh please tell me more about the dream! (robintala at gmail dot com)
just minutes before I read your comment another friend from CA told me that she had a dream about me too, we were in an ancient building with many mystics and singing and playing! Wow!
