Sitting here listening to "Gooo, Ga Go, Ahh, Ma" in the background
Strike that, now im listening to the fussy baby in the background so i gotta make this quick.
Time seems to be flying by. Karma had her 6 month birthday on the 14th and has been growing by leaps and bounds ever since. I can hardly believe it. We had a new Dr. appt. on the 18th and she had to have more shots. God i hate going to those appointments. I hate to hear her cry like that...this time was even more heart breaking...i will tell ya why. Dave always holds pumpkin during the shots cause i just dont think i could do it. So, he is holding her and she is crying, its the second shot of four, and she wails...."MAAAAAAA MAAAAAAA" and i almost died. She hadnt ever said it before and the first time had to be during her shots. I wanted to cry.. it was great and horrible all at the same time. So, after she was done and i picked her up she pretty much stopped crying instantly, and didnt get nearly as fussy this time as she usually does, so i feel all better about it now. Unfortunatly she doesnt seem to say MaMa too often now. Oh well, i will hear it often enough soon enough right? Smiles
So, an update on her skills... She is trying sooo hard to sit up on her own, but she isnt quite ready. She rolls from one side of the room to the other, that is how she gets around. She has two cute little teeth in the bottom of her mouth and she is drinking water and juice instead of just formula. She seems to like carrots, squash, sweet potatoes and peas as well as oatmeal. She doesnt like green beans or applesauce though. Hmm...we moved very recently so now she is getting used to our new place, she went through a few fussy days but seems to adjust more as our thinkgs are put back into place.
She talks all the time.. well, baby talks...people look at me like how dare i take a loud child like that into public...or the other extreme where they think it is too cute for words. I have to agree with the too cute for words side.. smiles.
The doctor says by the way she is moving he wouldnt be suprised if she is crawling within the next month. Yikes, that brings me to thinking about child proofing the cabinets in the kitchen. We better get to that soon!
Well, i think that is about it for now....i will try to do this more often..i know i suck at updating this thing.

P.S. I also quit working to stay at home full time with the baby...it might make me stir crazy.. but im gonna give it a try...now THAT is the end of the update. 8-)
