That was AMAZING. I think I may have had a tiny orgasm when Elizabeth started swordfighting. In men's clothing. May I repeat: swordfights, my one true love. Plus Keira Knightley, my babe. In men's clothing. Turn-on? Quite possibly.
In a more coherent frame of mind, I absolutely loved every element, which I wasn't expecting to. In my incredibly dedicated mind, nothing could measure up to the first. I saw that damn movie nine times in theatres, I loved it so much. But this definitely pulled it off. And might I add that Norrington remains my favorite person ever? Oh, what a prick. And he pulls it off so handsomely. :D

Anyway, the one thing that bothered me? I felt the special effects were a tad overdone at moments. Like the physical characteristics were fantastic, but the boat really bugged me. I'm not sure why, I guess I feel like they could have done something a bit more artsy with it. Just... too many barnacles. It felt excessive. Dong ma? Also, every time Bill Nighy said anything, all I could hear was "Oh, fuck shit wank bugger arse head and hole!" Which didn't improve my perception much. :P I love that man.
And the ending, holy shit. Obviously, Jack's not dead, because they aren't going to kill him, duh. And I have to admit, I saw that coming about 20 minutes before it actually happened. And again, I maintain that Elizabeth could kick everyone's ass. All the time. And win. But... Geoff Rush? Holy hell, I freaked.
Must say that my absolute favorite scene was Elizabeth's fit on the beach. I was nearly peeing myself to whole time, because.... I love her? "Oooooh, the heat!" Srsly.
Additionally, something my sister and I both caught... When Jack takes that ring off the witch's table, you can just see a locket there, too. And when the music box is played, a matching locket was inside it. Tell you much?
Loved it. Loved it loved it. Now I actually need to buy the first one, mates.
