Who knew setting up an apartment would cost so much. Well it's been forever and a day since I last posted. So let's see what's been going on and I'll try and recap.
Oooh! I've decided on a school. Yay! for me, and my family is happy to because it is in the same state but about 8 hours south of where we live so . . . It's going to be weird to live on my own for the first time. I mean don't get me wrong I can't wait, but it's going to be weird coming home from school or work and know that I'm it no one else will be coming home. I think it may take some time to get used to that. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. I need all the help that I can get. I've also been thinking that I might get a pet so that I have someone to come home too. I was thinking a rabbit or cat because you can keep them inside and they both can be litter box trained.
On another front I'm looking into buying a new laptop. One specifically customized for law school. Who knew those things could be so expensive. To get a laptop customized for school would cost me $1200! AHHHHHH!! That is ridiculous! But I need a new laptop, so I guess I will just have to break down and get it. However I am going to wait almost up until school starts that way the money I do have saved up can keep earning interest.
On the family front. My dad is doing better. . . I guess. What I mean by that is he hasn't been so manipulative lately as he has been in the past, and he hasn't accused my mother of doing anything to keep my brothers and I from him. But he still doesn't fully understand how much he has really hurt us, and that we can't get over it simply because he decides that he is truly sorry for what he has done. Personally what I hope and pray for is that regardless of how our relationship turns out that he gets professional help (from someone who was trained to help angry people) for himself. Because the only way I see him and mom ever getting back together is if he gets better and truly understands how is anger affects the people around him.
Ok to end on happy note. I have furniture for my new apartment. And the great thing is that it has all been given to me I didn't have to buy it or anything, and it's really nice stuff.
