IBM BladeServer chassis needed for two QS20 blades.
So I picked up two dual Cell QS20 blades, now I need a BladeServer chassis that's compatible.
The IBM website has not given up information on whether the QS20 blades will run in the semi-affordable BladeCenter S chassis, or whether it requires a full-on IBM BladeServer E chassis with a SAN.
I don't know whether I need a SAN, since the QS20s come with their own drives.
I ended up with two InfiniBand daughterboards and I have no idea if I need an InfiniBand switch in the chassis, or whether I can wire the two QS20s together directly, as I would by swapping pins on an Ethernet cable.
Where the heck is a BladeServer tutorial when you need one?
