Region Locking
Region locking sucks. My DVD drive on my Linux box no longer shows up on the IDE channels, no idea why. So I put one of my movies into my work laptop... and PowerDVD asked me if I wanted to change the region of my DVD player to Europe. Then I noticed that I can only changed the region three more times after this change.
What a great way to motivate use of Linux, where I don't have this problem.
Today I learned that the Wii is region locked also.
This sort of thing is why I don't buy DVDs or CDs. I'm sure Blu-Ray and friends will improve the region locking dramatically....
