Intellectually speaking, I believe that humans integrate their tools into their self image, and then it becomes difficult for those humans to take an unbiased viewpoint.
It's clear that the above response was purely emotional, and had nothing to do with facts.
Best I can do is try to keep from doing that myself.
At least I can say that switching from Haskell to C# is that sort of thing where I'm getting out of my comfort zone and trying to do something different.
