This year, we had a disappointing 27 trick-or-treaters, which is the least since I started keeping track in 2008. I don't know why, as it wasn't that cold and history suggested that weekdays give us more little monsters than weekends. Many of the parents said the kids remember us since we give away full size bars and comic books and Play-Doh, which we did again this year.
While handing out candy, we watched
My Son the Vampire (a.k.a. Vampire Over London a.k.a. Mother Riley Meets the Vampire) hosted by
My Gal, the Zombie. It's not good, but it's an interesting historical curio, and the hosting helps a lot!
