Originally uploaded by abelle2Brave is a good movie, but it doesn't blow you away the way the best Pixar movies do. I think a big part of the problem is that the heroine Merida does something really stupid when she gets the magic spell and applies it to her mother without knowing what she is doing. It's several degrees dumber than what Ariel did with her spell in The Little Mermaid, and I think it made me loose a lot of sympathy for her.
