Day 15:
“Owen! Owen, come quick!” Ianto dashed out of Jack’s office, looking frantically around the Hub. “I think Jack’s sick!”
“Hm?”
“Owen! Jack’s sick! He just chased me off his desk because he had work to do!” Ianto flushed, finished buttoning his shirt, and then went on. “I asked him if he wanted to go weevil hunting later, and he said he didn’t think there’d been any sightings lately!”
Owen stared at him for a moment. “That’s sick.”
“That’s what I’m trying to tell you!”
“Jack’s fine. He’s just gone into estrus.”
“Oh, well, if that’s all.” Ianto headed towards the kitchen, then spun back to face Owen.
“What?!”
“Jack’s kind of in heat. Apparently 51st century humans go through this hormonal thing every five years or so.”
“But, he’s not in heat. He’s positively frigid. He’s doing paperwork, for God’s sake!” Ianto grabbed the Owen’s shoulders and shook him. “You’ve got to fix him!”
Owen’s eyes went wide, and he backed away. Ianto dropped his hands, and started to apologize, but then found himself knocked to the floor with Jack straddling him.
“Jack? Feeling better?”
“Healthy as a horse.”
“I noticed,” Ianto muttered, as he tried to push Jack away.

Day 20
Ianto sighed, and fidgeted in his restraints. When Jack had said he’d wanted a night with Ianto tied up and at his mercy, he’d assumed Jack would at least be in the same room. Instead, Jack had fastened his wrists to his bedposts with one of his best ties, and wandered off into the living room to watch old movies. Ianto had found the idea of being left to wait for Jack very intriguing; six hours later, arousal had turned to boredom, and his arms were starting to ache.
“Jack?” he called, quietly. He was pretty sure Jack had meant for him to wait quietly, but Jack hadn’t actually left him any instructions. He was willing to risk it, if it meant something happening tonight.
He listened for a moment, and then swore to himself. Jack had heard him, all right. And Jack had responded by turning up the television.
Day 21
Jack and Kakashi awoke to find Ianto and Shikamaru in the kitchen, making breakfast.
“And everything’s an innuendo with the man! Every bloody thing.” Ianto gestured wildly with his spatula, and then flipped several pancakes onto a plate.
“At least he doesn’t read porn at work. Kakashi brings his dirty books along on missions.” Shikamaru mimed fending off an attacker, then turning pages.
“Whereas Jack waits until after we’ve returned, and then sets up cameras. You’re right, that’s completely different.”
“Shh. Don’t give Kakashi any ideas.”
“I think it’s a bit late for that. Remember what we watched last night?”
“I got distracted by the popcorn.”
“You got distracted by Jack feeding you popcorn, you mean.” Ianto grinned at Shikamaru’s embarrassment. “So I guess it’s true that he has that effect on everyone. I would have thought a big strong ninja like yourself would be immune to that sort of trick.”
“A ninja usually get some sort of briefing before dangerous missions. I had no idea your security footage was going to get so . . .” Shikamaru trailed off.
“So . . .?”
Shikamaru sighed. “Look, I just didn’t know you could do that with throwing stars and twizzlers.”
