(no subject)
I figure that now, during the Super Bowl, is as good a time as ever to update my journal since it has literally been forever since I've done so.
I spent the weekend in good ole' SA-town. I wouldn't have gone home, but it was the weekend of the ACTS retreat and I wanted nothing more than to surprise my wonderufl girlfriend Alex and be there at the candlelight service in support of her. I must say that I am so happy that she decided to go after all. It seems that she enjoyed herself quite a bit (not that that is unexpected). But all in all, I'm really happy because now she and I can share the ACTS experience together. All I know is that I miss her terribly now... go figure right? I love you sweetheart...
It's kind of nice though. I don't get all that sad when leaving home anymore. Going back is inevitable. So with that being said, as long as I'm either here in College Station or back home in San Antonio, I'm alright. It's the drive back that sucks the most. You know the feeling of being in between? It feels like some state of limbo that you're helpless to do anything about... you can't get out of it until you finally reach your destination...
That's really all thats new. And I really don't have anything profound to say... the only two things on my mind right now are Alex and the victory of the New England Patriots... so with that, I'm going to go back to missing her like crazy...
